The removal of aqueous copper from water follows a similar path to that of cadmium. Like cadmium, reduced, elemental copper cements to ZVI and does not re-solubilize in the medium. The reactivity of copper coupled with the considerable number sorption sites contained in ZVIS’ medium makes it highly effective in removing copper from water.
